John,
If you're still doing the query from earlier in this thread, which I believe
was:
mysql_query("SELECT * FROM $table WHERE MATCH (AU) AGAINST ('.$au.') order
by AU desc");
And you did:
ALTER TABLE ccl_main ADD FULLTEXT(AU,AUS);
And you're getting:
Can't find FULLTEXT index matching the column list
I'd take that to mean that there isn't a FULLTEXT index matching the column
list you used in the query (AU only). Maybe "... WHERE MATCH (AU,AUS)
AGAINTS..." would work better, since that's the FULLTEXT index you actually
created?
I'm not sure -- I'm only familiar enough with MySQL FULLTEXT searching to
have determined that it didn't work for my needs.
I suggest taking this issue over to the MySQL list at this point, since it's
no longer a PHP-related issue.
