Not to sound rude, but I already said that I did that. I'm not an idiot, it was working before the upgrade to Apache 1.3.26.

It didn't work. Also a correction: I misstyped the apache configure command I am using. I should have said: /configure --prefix=/path/to/apache --enable-module=so thanks, ~Mike At 11:43 AM 6/19/02 -0600, B i g D o g wrote:Compile the PHP first and then compile apache with the active PHP module Thank you, B i g D o g ----- Original Message ----- From: "Mike Joseph" <josephm5@msu.edu> To: <php-general@lists.php.net> Sent: Wednesday, June 19, 2002 11:37 AM Subject: [PHP] Apache upgrade, now php will not workHat 7.2 systemI upgraded from Apache 1.3.20 to 1.3.26 to patch up the security hole recently announced. I checked the httpd.conf file a thousand times and nothing is different, I recompiled php and apache almost 10 times, with no difference. I have no idea what to do next, the serverworksfine, it just refuses to parse php documents. Here are the commands I am using for Apache ./configure --prefix=/path/to/apache --with-module=so make make install for PHP ./configure --with-mysql --with-apache=/path/to/apache/src make clean make make install I am using the 'make clean' command because php would puke when on libphp4.la when compiling. Like I said, Apache works fine, PHP doesn't. Any thoughts? Thanks, ~Mike -- PHP General Mailing List (http://www.php.net/) To unsubscribe, visit: http://www.php.net/unsub.php
