PHP with MYSQL help with timeout/max execution time error

i have a mysql table with approximately 9800 rows and i attempt to use PHP to display the entire table onto a web page. after a few minutes, the page outputs an error indicating maximum execution time of 60 seconds exceeded in ./libraries/display_tbl.lib. I attempted to load mysqld with mysqld -O net_write_timeout=300, however, the value for that variable seems to stay at 60 and does not change to 300. i do not know if this is the source or cause of the problem though as execution time does not sound the same as a write timeout. any help would be greatly appreciated __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
