but the problem is that when i lock table1 , then i won't be able to select
from table2.
error 1100: table 'table2' was not loccked with LOCK TABLES
What does that mean...I only locked table1 not table2.
If I lock table1, do I have to lock table2 in order to read.
Thanks
mark
