PHP4 and oracle works fine for me.
I use PHP4's session management so that the user logs in only once, and the
sessions re-pass this info to an included login script on subsequent pages.
The only caveat I have found so far is that if you are developing on one
database, the ocilogon(user,pass,db) function does not work properly. At
least this is the case for our situation where we have a single oracle server
with multiple sids on the same box. Maybe it would work if we put our
development db on a server w/different ip. I'll try anything -- nothing like
having fake data show up on a production interface.
