Looks like you don't have lex installed. What OS are you using? Linux and
FreeBSD should come with lex pre-installed. I don't know about Solaris.
You can get a copy of flex (Which is just a GNU version of lex AFAIK) from
here: http://www.gnu.org/manual/flex-2.5.4/flex.html
