A good point Danny... :-)
I'm gradually getting my head around this FreeBSD malarky, and have found
the nice Make GUI in the mod_php4 port, but is there any speedy way to pass
through my ./configure options from my existing PHP install?
I still remain unenlightened as regards my original dilemna: is there a way
to use the Ports collection to install a non-production release of PHP, e.g.
a recent STABLE snapshot? Does the source code need to be patched to make
it work with FreeBSD?
Thanks for all your help - most appreciated!
Andy
p.s. my apologies - I realise this has become more of a FreeBSD issue than a
PHP one...
