Yes.
The script checks the user is authorised, sets the appropriate content-type
headers, and passes the the contents through.
Be prepared for lots of hours work on this, testing with all the browsers.
There are some bugs in some IE version which make life difficult, but start
by reading all the pages and user contributed notes to do with header()
php.net/header
