Me again So, I posted here quite a couple of times in the hope that I will find a way to code sessions that are not dependent on cookies or register_globals in order to avoid broken apps when I do upgrades to PHP. Well, It seems I failed. Rasmus helped me out with my previous post, and that seemed to help alot. I basically constructed my sessions as follow: (pseudo code) index page session_start(); <form> username_form -> action page password_form -> action page </form> action_page session_start(); session_register("username","password"); check $_POST["username_form"] and $_POST["password_form'] if they have content, $username = $_POST["username_form"] and $password = $_POST["password_form"]; <a href="another_page">here</a> another_page session_start(); <form> variable -> another_action_page </form> another_action_page session_start(); echo $_POST["variable"]; So, this is a very simplified pseudo look at my app, Now the strange stuff. The first index page form send the username and password to the action page without any problems, BUT, the second form does not..... Weird hey? register_globals are ON , track_vars obviously on, --enable-trans-sid is also compiled. I just don't know what is going on??? I have gzipped my files and the db structure and put it here: http://www.linuxhelp.co.za/php_list.php - php.tar.gz (3,5KB) for those who are kind enough to help me out. Thanks
