How are you putting files on your server? I'm using FTP. I uploaded a
local file created on 5/2/2002, then checked the mod date of the newly
created file on my Sun box and it is 8/8/2002.

That seems strange... because I can compare my local and live copies of
my
sites by date, and see which files I need to upload new copies of...
