yeah, that definitely seemed like the easiest way to do it. however, it
also means that i'm putting a huge strain on the database especially
when/if i start getting some traffic...
another thought that i had was to use javascript and do something like
onClick="parse_my_script_which_dos_a_quick_time_stamp_and_redirects_to_
the_destination."
it's hacky, it's ugly, but it might work better...
??
