Tyler, have you successfully used tar to gunzip and extract any other files
since you rebuilt your server? Have you tried re-downloading the tarball?
Maybe the entire file wasn't downloaded or got corrupted after being downloaded.
My copy downloaded June 30 has a byte count of 1958257. Verify that your does,
too.

After getting the error during tar I wouldn't recommend proceeding with any
install.
