RE: [PHP] Newbie needs some help.

Hi Bo, > I got the script from a learning book, and > typed it over literally. Therein lies your problem :-) PHP's handling of variables that come from forms has changed recently, and none of the books (to my knowledge) have caught up with it. You can either turn on the "register_globals" setting in your php.ini (not the best solution), or use the newer method for accessing your form variables (a much better idea): http://www.php.net/manual/en/security.registerglobals.php http://www.php.net/manual/en/reserved.variables.php Cheers Jon
