problem to download attachments in https mode !!

Hello!
If I want to download a file I send headers:
header("Content-type: application/octet-stream");
header("Content-Disposition: attachment; filename=\"$filename\"");
and below I flush the file content.
It is fine in http mode.
Problem appears if I want to download in https mode (SSL).
Error occurs:
"Internet Explorer can not download .... Internet Explorer can
not open the internet page".
I checked off option "Do not download encrypted pages" but it does not help.
I know pages where I can download attachments in https mode so it is possible.
One sulution is to download in http mode but it can not be done in my situation.
If someone knows solution please help.
