encoding type conversion between en, utf-8, euc-kr etc...

Hello! I'm making a program that prints contents of all files in some directory. The problem is that those files were encoded differently; utf-8, euc-kr, en, etc... If my program prints as it were, only the files encoded as utf-8 would be shown properly, if the browser's encoding mode is utf-8. I've read PHP manual, but I can't find any encoding type conversion function in PHP. Then, how can I make my program print all files correctly? Help me, please!!!
