Today I finally got MySQL up and running on my home win 95 computer
after several days of trying, but found one odd thing. In Apache the
port is set to 80 so the only way I can get mysql running is to always
manually type in -P 80 after every command, so I was wondering if I can
fix this? My ideas were to either change the default port for mysql,
but I don't know where to change the default port number, or change the
port that apache works on. I wasn't sure if I should just go about
changing the port that apaches works on, will that affect anything or
does it really matter which port it listens to? Any ideas and
suggestions are more than welcome!
