Hi everyone, hope you're having a good weekend!
I have a question. I am thinking of temporarily saving sensitive
information into a database until I can download it. The visitor will be
using SSL on the site, but I am more than aware that saving the information
into a mysql database would be the weak link. I was thinking of using some
kind of encryption (such as PGP) to save the data into the database so that
when I download it I can decrypt it. I was wondering if anyone has done
anything like this and if there are any pitfalls. Is PGP the best method
(with it's public and private keys) or is there another simpler, but still
as secure, method
Thanks and I'd appreciate any feedback - positive or negative
Ade
