Hi, I have been working on learning how to make html forms and then have
that data sent via a php script to a database in mysql, but today after
almost completing my first form to submit data to the database, I hit a
problem. I am very new at this whole web server thing, so bear with
me. My problem is that once I hit submit on the web browser, an error
pops up "Forbidden| You don't have permission to access /forms/< on this
server.| Apache/1.3.12 Server at localhost Port 80", and I think this is
due to me really not setting up any users. This apache is just running
on my home win95 computer and I am basically just using it to test my
creations before posting them somewhere so security isn't really an
issue. So my question is, how can I set up users (the manual is very
unclear here), and how do I allow myself access to read and write any
directory?
Thanks,
