I'm having a strange problem with the PHPSESSID value that's appended to url's
automatically (the trans-id attribute is on). I have url's such as http://www.whatever.com/browse.php?cid=9&sid=0
on my front page, but now that the session id's are automatically appended, some of the links
are now like
http://www.whatever.com/browse.php?cid=9&sid=&PHPSESSID=22dcdd2fc728110a6fb64b7d542217290
and
http://www.whatever.com/b?PHPSESSID=22dcdd2fc728110a6fb64b7d54221729rowse.php?cid=16&sid=62
It appears as if the session id is inserted in the middle of the url. The problem is very consistent
since the problem links are exactly the same each time. Once I refresh the page or visit another
page and come back, the problem is gone since the appended session id is no longer there.
I have a session_start() call at the top of each page, because I use sessions for people to log in.
Any help would be very much appreciated,
Lenny
