"UPDATE toto SET OBSERVATION = '".addslashes."' WHERE id=$number";
^^^^^^^^^^^- Personal opinion but tables should be in
lowercase when created, then they are easier to see in SQL statements, (Caps
all Keywords, lowercase all table/col names).
