ok, cron jobs are usually setup in /etc/crontab
the line looks something like this:
#minute hour mday month wday who command
0 0 * * * root /path/to/cgi-bin/rotate_article.pl
now it's up to you to write 'rotate_article.pl'.
You can write yourself a PHP script, no matter if you have CGI version or module version, and access it via lynx. The crontab entry would look something like this:
0 0 * * * root lynx -dump
http://localhost/path/to/rotate_article.php 1>/dev/null 2>&1
or thereabouts. I have plenty of those on my system...awfully useful.
