Hi,
I want to use php in my linux server to connect with MSSQL Server. I know
that it needs to use ASE (Adaptive Sybase Enterprise) for making the
connection.
However, when I type make install after typing ./configure --with-sybase
--with-apxs, it found errors and are as below:
In file included from internal_functions.c:33:
/root/php-4.0.1pl2/ext/sybase/php_sybase.h:78: sybfront.h: No such file or
directory
/root/php-4.0.1pl2/ext/sybase/php_sybase.h:79: sybdb.h: No such file or
directory
/root/php-4.0.1pl2/ext/sybase/php_sybase.h:80: syberror.h: No such file or
directory
make[2]: xxx [internal_functions.lo] Error 1
make[2]: Leaving directory `/root/php-4.0.1pl12/main'
make[1]: xxx [install-resursive] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/root/php-4.0.1pl12/main'
make: xxx [install-recursive] Error 1
I've checked that there are no sybfront.h, sybdb.h and syberror.h files in
that directory. I've installed sybase 11.9.2 already.
Is it common to connect php with MSSQL in Linux. However, mySQL seems
insufficient to hold large database. Isn't it?
Please advice.
