I have a portal site, www.portal.com
that is a portal to
www.his-site.com
www.her-site.com
www.their-site.com
all 3 having the same login ID and password for
a particular user. Is there any way that can be
set up so that a user would go to www.portal.com,
login in and link to any of the other sites and be
already logged in (by virtue of having already
logged in on www.portal.com)?
I know it cannot be done using HTTP Auth unless
you use the same "realm" (and even then, I'm not
so sure) and I know you cannot use cookies because
they work using the host name (ie, www.portal.com
or portal.com). Am I wrong with the above? If
not, is there any other way?
Using PHP?
Chris
