Subject: [PHP] referrer
Hey all,
Need a little advise, I am using
$clienturl = getenv("HTTP_REFERER");
to get where the client has come from...only if the client has come from
https://someSite.com/secure/23r23/23sdafBlahblahblah.cgi
will I process
his/her request,
if he/she came from http://someOtherSite.com/ dont process
and I want to record only till the .com part
eg:
https://someSite.com/
how do i cut off all the extra junk after the .com?
I have RTFM and have experimented with explode() but being a newbie have
just run into problems that i couldnt solve so I deleted that code and came
running here for help :-)
Any and all ideas/suggestions/answers are welcome.
Cheers,
-Ryan
