Hi,
I've just installed apache2 and tried to install php 4.3.1 as a dso. The
compile was fine, but when i request a php file, the apache process
handling the request segfaults.
uname -a :
FreeBSD foo.bar.co.za 4.7-RELEASE-p7 FreeBSD 4.7-RELEASE-p7 #0: Thu Mar 13
15:55:49 GMT 2003 george@foo.bar.co.za:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/FOO i386
apache2 configure opts:
configured by ./configure, generated by GNU Autoconf 2.54,
with options \"'--enable-auth-digest=shared' '--enable-cache'
'--enable-ssl=../openssl-0.9.7a' '--enable-dav=shared'
'--enable-auth=shared' '--enable-alias=shared' '--enable-cgi=shared'
'--enable-vhost_alias=shared' '--enable-status=shared'
'--with-mpm=prefork' '--enable-imap=shared' '--enable-mime=shared'
'--enable-userdir=shared' '--enable-dav_fs=shared'\"
php 4.3.1 configure opts:
# ./configure --with-mysql=/usr/local/ --enable-force-cgi-redirect
--with-gettext --with-config-file-path=/usr/local/etc/php
--enable-track-vars --with-apxs2=/usr/local/apache2/bin/apxs
--with-tsrm-pth --enable-mbstring
When requests for .php files are made, the httpd dies with this log:
[Wed Apr 09 00:07:30 2003] [notice] child pid 95753 exit signal
Segmentation fault (11)
I'm hesitant to compile php staticly into the binary since 99% of the
requests on the box are for static files.. Anybody have any ideas?
Cheers
