Where to download PHP-4.2.3

Greetings learned PHP(eople), I`m trying to download and install PHP ver 4.2.3.... The php.net site maintains they don`t offer distributions/binaries for linux, and suggested I try the site of which version of Linux I`m running. So I pop off to mandrake.org and a search there reveals no files to download. I downloaded a binary distro but don`t know the first thing about compiling it. I then got a rpm package from rpmfind, but that complains about dependency problems. I have a long list of files I need to get, but am having serious trouble getting it off the web. Can any one here recommend a place to start, like one place where all related packages can be found. ? Thanks in advance for any assistance. -- Chris Blake Office : (011) 782-0840 Cell : 083 985 0379 Computers are a lot like air-conditioners. Once you open windows, they stop working properly.
