I think this could be done with a few tools. You could build a flash app that can tunnel to the server without refreshing the page. flash would get the new data then have draw a new graph using javascript to write/alter an SVG graph This might work for you The persons that will be viewing this page, how are they going to connect to the server, via a modem or highspeed connection? if it is a modem connection, you can forget REAL-TIME refreshing altogether. it would take longer then 1 sec to send the request / process the request / receive processed data and then change the graph. But what I described above will get you going down the right road IMHO.
