How about you first display a page with the message and maybe an animated gif of a progressbar saying that you are doing something that takes longer and then simply redirect to the actual script that does the work? I'm not sure if this works on all browsers (not tested) but it seems to work on my ie. Another idea is to use frames and use a hidden frame for your processing and visible frame for displaying a message. Just an idea Stefan Langer (musk)
