He had nothing to back it up other than his previous experience. He says he's tried it before (or has know people who've tried it) and was never able to get it to work.
Of course it all depends on 'how' you need to pass these to your external program.
In a nutshell, this is what I want to accomplish: 1) The user goes to the web page (a given ;-) ) 2) He'd select the PS/PDF document to fax. 3) He'd specifiy the CSV file containing the fax numbers to pass to the server. 4) He'd select the specific options to pass to SENDFAX--killtime, sendtime, etc. 5) He'd click Send Fax (or whatever). When he submits the fax, the PHP script would parse the fax numbers from the text file and build the SENDFAX command to then execute on the server--it would need to do this for each fax number it receives from the CSV file.
