Messrs Wong and Vogelsinger, According to phpinfo() my document root is _SERVER["DOCUMENT_ROOT"] /home/data/ClientWebs/chrisplay Permissions for the font is as follows : -rwxrwxrwx 1 root 503 63988 May 9 14:25 beast_wars.ttf* This font is sitting in /home/data/Clientwebs/chrisplay I have referenced it as follows : //Let GD know where fonts reside putenv('GDFONTPATH = /home/data/ClientWebs/chrisplay'); $fontname = 'beast_wars.ttf'; Still the same errors...... I need to jet off to a support call now....so I`ll get back to this upon return. Thanks in the interim for the pointers....
