Hello !
I want to connect to a ftp-server and have a time-limit when the
function should stop if the connection if not established in this time.
I tried (only for test-reasons, to see, what happens, when the
time-limit is exceeded):
set_time_limit(1); // Set Time Limit to 1 Sec
for ($i = 0; $i < 10000; $i++)
{ $ftp = ftp_connect("$this->host");
}
But the function runs and runs and runs and it still runs.
Using php4.0.2 on apache.
Any ideas ?
