Sorry, now I noticed I misspelled it:
hijack a thread - when one takes an email from a mailing-list and uses the reply(-all) button not to reply to the question, but to ask something different, and usually also changes the subject line. People with mail clients with threading capability (virtualy anyone not using outlook) will get his email displayed in a tree under the first (thread starting) email, so this email might get no attention.
Bye, Marek

Glory! Yes actually someone did help me and I corrected the Error Notice parameter in the php.ini Exactly what do you mean by "hijack treads" ? Second, you have error_reporting set too high in your php.ini, set it to E_ALL & ~E_NOTICE and read Error Handling section of the manual. PHP Spooky wrote:Glory! I recently installed Apache2 on my WindowsXP system. And I'm runningthelatest PHP version. Everything was working fine but today I noticed something, an error.NowI don't know, I cant recall, if it's since I installed Apache2 or if it just started today. But anyway, here's the deal.. In any script that I provide where I'm using the if(!$submit) to check if the form has been submitted or not, I get the following error : Notice: Undefined variable: submit in D:\Program Files\Apache Group\Apache2\htdocs\mjs\dir\install.php on line 6 Basically it's giving me a "Notice : Undefined variable" error. Why? I have the Register_Globals turned On. And I never had this problem. I have been using this $submit variable from a long time. How do Irectifythis problem? What has happened?
