File uploading problems...

Hello, I have a problems with file uploading... Text files uploading good, but the binary files become differ with original... After uploading all '00' hex codes of original file become to '20' (space)... As result I can't unpack .zip files for example... How to solve this problem? Is it the bug or misconfiguration of my PHP? I tried change option magic_quotes_gpc in php.ini but no results... What is wrong??? I'm using mod_php 4.0.2 on FreeBSD 4.0 with Apache 1.3.12.
