Try making the file name be something funky so IE won't think it's smart enough to out-smart you. I'm not sure what you mean by "something funky" You may also be able to do the things you would do with header() through various httpd.conf (or .htaccess) directives... I can do it with headers and PHP with no problem and it also works, you can see a working example at : http://www.weberdev.com/PictureDownload.php3 and you can also see the code at http://www.weberdev.com/index.php3?GoTo=get_example.php3?count=1562. The point was that I don't want to access a PHP script that will do the work for me with Headers, I want the Netscape webserver to do the job for me. It works with NN but not with IE cause IE thinks (Yea right...) it's smarter than the webserver... thanks berber -- Richard Lynch | If this was worth $$$ to you, buy a CD US Customer Support Director | from one of the artists listed here: Zend Technologies USA | http://www.L-I-E.com/artists.htm http://www.zend.com | (this has nothing to do with Zend, duh!) -- PHP General Mailing List (http://www.php.net/) To unsubscribe, e-mail: php-general-unsubscribe@lists.php.net For additional commands, e-mail: php-general-help@lists.php.net To contact the list administrators, e-mail: php-list-admin@lists.php.net
