do you want to send a file via mail (mime-type of the file?) or do you want to attach the file to a
mail (multipart?)?
the mail-format is defined in rfc2045 and following. but if you don't want to build your own
function, there are good mime-mail-classes out there. (e.g. http://www.phpguru.org/mime.mail.html)
