Paul,
You must compile php with the
--with-oracle=$ORACLE_HOME # for oracle
or
--with-oci8=$ORACLE_HOME # for oracle 8
If there is no oracle section in the phpinfo() then you have not
compiled in the oracle functions and consequently can not use them.
