Running ORACLE PL/SQL !

We have php4 with OCI library and we have tried to execute a PL/SQL
procedure. The code is like this:
$stmt=OCIParse($con,"execute myproc");
OCIExecute($stmt,OCI_COMMIT_ON_SUCCESS);
we have got the following error:
Warning: OCIStmtExecute: ORA-00900: invalid SQL statement in csicap.php
on line 48
The same query completes successfully when run from sqlplus.
Can somebody tell us why a PL/SQL procedure which runs OK from SQLPLUS
fails when run from PHP?
