What I'd meant was something like location.replace('new page') kind of thing
available in Javascript to be done on PHP side! The function overwrites the last entry in the
history and then you cannot use <<back>> but the trouble is I won't be able to send
or transmit data to the other page!
:-) hope it's not so bothering and confusing!

Hi,
What do you mean cannot be reverted back to? If the browser caches the
page you can't prevent the viewer viewing it again (you can send
no-cache headers but they don't have to be obeyed). If you are worried
about double-posts, what I do is include a hidden "key" on post pages,
and keep the same key in the session data. When a post is made that
matches the key, a new key is randomly generated (which is then used on
further form pages and stored with the session data); if a post is made
with a non-matching key then I treat it as a re-post and handle it
appropriately.
Hope that helps,
