Actually what it is doing is splitting your first part 'id=whatever' and
inserting session_name=123343... between the = and whatever, like:
you want: <a href=xxx.php?id=3&session_name=abc>
you get: <a href=xxx.php?id=&session_name=abc3>
I worked around it by putting in a dummy variable before my necessary
variable. I.E. <a href=xxx.php?dummy=<? print(""); ?>&id=<?=id?>>
which
would give you
<a href=xxx.php?dummy=&session_name=abc&id=3>
This was using trans-sid enabled btw.
