Ohhh okay. Well if you mean to do this, $szPipe = popen(`/htdocs/gs -q

/htdocs/Sep08-113523.pdf`, "r");. This does not seem change anything. If I
do this with the system() example, I get "Warning: system(): Cannot execute
a blank command in /htdocs/index.php on line 14".
