you have me stumped, but what you could do is, backup the current
libphp4.so, (mv libphp4.so libphp4old.so), and then do the make
install.. this will guarantee that a new file has been placed, I went
from 4.0pl1 to 4.3RC1, not sure if this problem is specific to 4.02, since
my friend had a problem with that same version.
