Well i changed the blob in longblob, but it couldn't be the problem, the
pictures i uploaded were 64x64 pixels, and it fits in a blob ...
anyway i changed it.
I also tried backslashed double quotes in the INSERT query, nothing changed
....
BUT
if i use another addslashes on the string containing the raw data, now it is
recorded in the database ... but i wonder if it soesn't broke anything
insite the data because i got a broken link when i try to display it ....
I'm really bored, i just found another script that records uploaded pictures
in a blob ... it gots the same code as me :
if ($submit == 'Upload File') {
$thumb_data = addslashes(fread(fopen($thumb_input_file, "r"),
$thumb_input_file_size));
$picture_upload = mysql_db_query($poll_dbName, "insert into
$poll_Photo_TableName values (
0,
'$thumb_data',
'$description',
'$thumb_input_file_name',
'$thumb_input_file_size',
'$thumb_input_file_type' )");
}
