Hi, I had downloaded mysql 2.0.11 version and build it's library. But when i tried to configure my php with "--with-mysql =/somelocal directory/" but at the end of the configuration it says that it can find libmysqlclient.a. I checked the file in the directory where i had installed the mysql and wasn't able to find this file. The only library files that were present are as follows:-- libregexp.a,libmsql.a,liblite.a Since the installation was without any errrors, I expected that library would have been created. Can anybody tell what would have gone wrong that the library wasn't created and would it be possible to create the library, so that the php can be configured to execute mysql commands. Thanks, Manas
