Hi! After I read about persistent connections, I still have a big
question:
Supposing I have a website powered by a database (Oracle in my case).
First time a user visit my page, I open a connection to database. Then, I
preserve the connection opened passing connection descriptor using
sessions. When use logout, I close the connection. The qeustion is: if
user suddenly close the browser, will my connection remain opened (since
code that close it is not executed)?
Could someone provide me (or tell me where I could find) a simple example
about persistent database connections?
Thx,
Radu
