This is not possible within the same page, because php is parsed on the server
side (first), while javascript is completely client side (afterwards).
To pass a javascript variable to the next php script, you may build a form
(hidden) or a URL with a javascript generated variable value which contains a
value to be passed to the next page.

Hi, I was wondering:
How would you assign the value of a javascript variable to a php
variable?
gracias.
