I am totally new at using php with mysql and as I get started it seems that one could create a series of html files to do some basic manipulation of existing mysql database schema in a web browser. I am sure someone has already done this and wondering if I could get a reference as to where to find it. I am actually not sure what to call it, but what I imagine is a set of html files that would allow you to enter connection information and pull up all databases being served, select a database (and enter a password) to see all tables, have the ability to list all fields or add tables or fields. Perhaps there would be auto-generated forms to enter records, but I am primarily interested in setting up the database schema. Yes, this can all be done in SQL but I am looking for a quick visual way of seeing your list of existing fields/columns (along with details on each) and then enter new fields/columns along with details on each. In addition, I prefer a web browser solution. Michael -- _/ _/ _/ _/ Michael Collins _/ _/ _/ Equinox Enterprises _/ _/ Seattle, WA, USA _/ mcollins206@home.com
