Jason:
Thanks mucho. I had NO idea the _name was even implemented (still running
3.0.14 PHP for particular reasons), but, it worked like a champ.
But, interesting anomaly. I made the fatal mistake of building this app using
an MS IE 5 client, which distorts many things. On a Linux client, using
Netscape, the functions work as advertised. I need to get Windows clients to
work as well. And, yes, I've done the conversion routines on the windows
c:\whatever_redmond_thinks/dev/hd_or_sd_something_or_other_needs_to_be_called/
anomalies. But, this one is very strange.
You had some experience with this, perhaps?
Best Regards,
Van
