Problems installing PHP4 with gd and esoob support

Hello! I tried to install PHP4 with gd and Easysoft odbc-odbc-bridge support... I have a redhat 6.2 system with gd-1.8.3 (latest version available) and odbc-odbc-bridge-1.0.0.18 (the latest) installed the problems are as follows: 1. if i configure php with gd and esoob suport I get an eroor when i try to make php: ext/odbc/php_odbc.h:104 and others: can't find include file sql.h 2. if i try to configure php with gd and no esoob support, i get no errors, but the gd library is still not functioning (at least at my tests). do you know a way to test if my gd library support in php is working so i can see if it is right? anyway, i need both of them working, so that was (for me) just to test what module is causing problems... 3. if i install php from rpm, it has no extensions at all (mysql, gd, zlib, etc), and maybe someone can tell me how can I enable them (in phpinfo() generated page it had all the extensions in compiled-with options.. thanx and please help me...
