Hi,
Thanks for the reply Michael.
The intranet used by our client is a very fast one. I have personally seen
files downloaded from the net in a blink of an eye. (Okay, Okay, I need to
give numbers and not such subjective descriptions :). I'll provide the
exact details later )But the fact remains that the client's internal
network is indeed ultrafast.
And since this application runs on the Intranet and not on the Internet I
think it should be just as fast as their other applications. Am I wrong in
expecting this? Please do let me know.

this sounds normal. I have created many file uploads and of course it just
depends on the speed of the users' connection.
