Hi all,
I have appreciated your suggestions :-) but I'm looking for something which can parse a html line like:
<title>This is the title tag</title>
and tranform it to a php line:
echo "<title>This is the title tag</title>";
also transforming special characters (ex.: " to \"....)
Try to imagine why...
I know I can write a word macro (but I want to remain under linux...) or a perl script. Is there something ready?
Thank you again
Hi all, Does anyone know of a way to cause apache to run a document through its standard html parser (whatever handles server side includes) AFTER it processes the php? -Ryan On Tue, Jun 13, 2000 at 02:48:03PM -0700, php3@developersdesk.com wrote:-- ___________________________________________________________________ Antonio Guerrieri Laboratorio Progetto Reti Dipartimento di Ingegneria dell'Innovazione - Universita' di Lecce c/o Ed. About the only thing I've found that php can't handle when you move a .html file over to .php is SSI. Apache manages SSI and that does not happen for .php files. I have not seen anything to automatically update SSI in a .html files to the equivallent php, but they are usually pretty easy.
